Stupid Evil Bastard, or SEB as it is also known, is a personal blog of Lesley ('Les') Jenkins, a Michigan, USA native. It has been continually updated (with short interruptions) since 2001, and has reached 5,667 entries and 67,989 comments (June 21, 2008).
While the entries run a wide range of themes (for example personal life, humor, blogging software), Les' blog is mainly known for candid discussions about politics (USA and international matters), religion and atheism. Les is an atheist, though he started out religious early in life and even intended to join the clergy. His political leanings are strongly libertarian.
The blog allows visitor comments, and many threads reach several hundreds of entries with regular and one-off visitors discussing the theme at hand (or veering off into different directions). Les is known for not censoring comments (except for spam), though he and regulars will often be very sarcastic in comment replies to posters who do not follow rules of logic, do not show fairness in arguments and rhetoric, or make unsubstantiated comments - especially if referring to 'supernatural' matters.
The blog also allows guest entries (as opposed to guest comments), though these are vetted first by Les.
