Steven Prescott

Steven Prescott (born September 27, 1991 in Dover, New Jersey) is one of the most highly touted high school shortstops. He currently plays at Randolph High School.


Babe Ruth Career
Prescott was a vital part of the Randolph team that won back to back state championships in 2005 and 2006. His leadership, hitting ability for both power and contact, coupled with his stealing ability and his highly recognized helped Randolph march to back to back titles as well as a Regional runner up in 2006. In 2006 he batted .667 during his play in Regional play as well as batting .400 in state play.


High School Career
Steven had a stellar year as a freshman with a team leading .510 average along with 20 RBIS as the leadoff hitter. His defensive efforts were just as impressive making countless run saving plays throughout the season. After his freshman year he was given offers from schools like Seton Hall Prep, Don Bosco Prep, and Morristown Beard to continue his baseball playing career however declined and will continued baseball in Randolph.
