Stephino RPG is an independently developed strategy RPG browser game developed by Mark Jivko. The open-source game was developed as a standalone plugin for WordPress and released in late 2020. The game allows admins to customize all aspects of the gameplay, from the game mechanics to the storyline and game design. Gameplay Stephino RPG is a strategy role-playing browser game similar to Ikariam or OGame where the objective is to expand your empire through research and military activities. The game can be easily customized by the game master in the point-and-click admin interface. Stephino RPG goes beyond a classic RPG game, allowing players to create and share their own levels of a platformer game. Development The game was developed in PHP as a WordPress plugin. The front-end was coded in CSS and JavaScript and the platformer levels were developed using Phaser. Stephino RPG ran a successful campaign on KickStarter in early 2021 and is still in active development. |
