Stephen Horne (born Nairobi, 1948) is an artist and writer. Horne's writing has been published in catalogues and in periodicals such as Third Text, Parachute, Artpress, Flash Art, Canadian Art, C Magazine and Fuse<ref name="ImInsc" />, as well as in anthologies in English, French and German. He edited Fiction, or other accounts of Photography, an anthology published by Dazibao in Montreal. Abandon Building: Selected Writings on Art was published in 2007 by Press Eleven. Horne was Associate Professor in the Media Arts Division and MFA Program at <ref name="ImInsc" />, Halifax NS from 1979-2006, and taught a Seminar on art criticism in the MFA Programme at Concordia University (Montreal), Montreal during the nineties.
