Stefano Cilio (23 November 1980) is an Italian writer, radio personality, disc jockey and journalist. Biography The writer, graduated in economics at Università Bocconi of Milan, published his debut book Mezzo Secolo Di Ritornelli in 2015: the project has the objective to create a list of the best-selling songs into the italian charts as far as singles are concerned and brings the author to list 500 songs issued physically or digitally between 1959 and 2014. The project gets good reviews on music magazines Rockol and Sentireascoltare, also thanks to public exposure on radios RTL 102.5, Radio Monte Carlo e m2o, on which a quiz with the same name is created on the program Mollybeach, hosted by disc jockey e record producer Molella. In 2016 and 2017 the book is updated in two newer versions, inserting data of 2015 and 2016. In 2019 a new version of the book is published by music publisher Arcana Edizioni, with data updating till 2018. This editon was positively reviewed by national magazine Sette, by Radiocity and by Radio Capital, which hosted the author in one of its main programs. Furthermore the author created a popularity music chart named Rit Parade, project that allowed him to host a weekly radio chart, aired by Radio Italia Anni 60 (909.000 daily listeners) and by some local radios like BluRadio (16.000 daily listeners) and Radio Shake Hit (66.000 daily listeners). Rit Parade lists the 30 most popular songs in Italy combining streaming, download, airplay, internet views and identification data. In 2020 the writer began his career of journalist, writing weekly articles for the magazine Tutto Settimanale: in the music section of the magazine he comments on the top ten positions of the Rit Parade, providing details and information about songs and artists inside the chart.
