Captain Takia Tanaka murdered along with Commodore Thompson and the entire staff of the giant star base. Attempted takeover by the American special forces, the Ships AI/Interface decided to destroy the ship and tricked the crew and the mutineers to leave the ship. Executive officer Anya Lawyers critically wounded and carried to the medical bay by the interface Nancy Dwight Lieutenant Nancy Dwight, is the ships AI/Interface and was responsible for the destruction of Iceland in book 3 of the Destroyers, Civil War when she rescued Commander Lawyers family from a prison sub.
