Stassi D. Cramm is an American leader in the Community of Christ. Since 2016, Cramm has been the presiding bishop and a counselor in the First Presidency of the church. She has previously been a member of the church's Council of Twelve Apostles and a counselor to the presiding bishop. Cramm is the first woman presiding bishop in the history of the church. Cramm attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the University of Phoenix, Graceland University, and Capella University. She was employed as a flight test engineer for the United States Air Force. On March 31, 2016, Cramm was appointed as the presiding bishop and a member of the First Presidency.<ref name veazy2016/> In the First Presidency, Cramm is a counselor to Prophet-President Stephen M. Veazey and succeeded Becky L. Savage.<ref name veazy2016/> Cramm is the first woman presiding bishop in the history of the church.<ref name genet/> She is also only the second person in the church to serve concurrently as presiding bishop and as a member of the First Presidency.<ref name genet/> (L.
