Stage 3-1

Biography
Stage 3-1 is a Nintendo Cover band from Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. They are not only unique in the fact that they cover NES songs and only NES songs, but they write Nintendo inspired originals as well. Stage 3-1 was one of the first Nintendo cover band to start in North America, followed by swarms of video game cover bands. Stage 3-1 was started back in late 2003 as a studio band. After recording countless tracks and having moderate success on the popular website Newgrounds, Stage 3-1 became an official live band in the Summer of 2007. Although no CD has been officially released, there have been rumors of an album titled "Level Up" being released late 2008. Stage 3-1 not only played an important role of developing the love of Video Game Music in North America, but was also a part of developing the Audio Portal on Newgrounds. Stage 3-1 held the #1 voted track on the Video Game section for the first 3 years the Audio Portal was introduced. This ended shortly after technical difficulties occurred with the account.
