Stacey Mattocks (born December 17, 1975) is credited with creating the Facebook fan page for The CW's sitcom The Game, a television series created by Mara Brock Akil and produced by Kelsey Grammer. Personal Life Stacey was born in the United Kingdom and currently lives in Florida. The Game The show was canceled in May 2009 and the page continued to grow to over 2 million fans. BET picked up the show a first for an African American sitcom and began to search for the creator of the page and upon finding her, hired Stacey to run the fan page which at last count was 3.8 million fans. The Game returned with a fourth season on January 11, 2011 with 7.7 million total viewers, according to Nielsen to make it the highest-rated show in BET history and one of the most-watched original series premieres ever on cable. |
