SOUNDS LIKE ELVIS

Sounds Like Elvis was a compact disc issued in 1996 by Collectables Records. It contained fifteen original rock 'n roll/rockabilly tracks covering the time period from 1956-1977. There were several obscure rockabilly recordings on this album and most of the tracks were performed by artists from the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The CD featured Elvis Presley song stylists that included Royce Porter, Vernon Pullins, Sammy Atchison, Carl Canida, Tommy Hammond, Bill Massey, Harold Casner, Gary Middleton, Dan Bowden, Gene Rambo (aka Gene Princeton), Jimmy Velvit and Gene Summers-whose photo is featured on the booklet cover. It was produced by Roy C. Ames for Home Cookin' Productions and was digitally remastered by Phil York of Yorktown Digital, USA. The liner notes were also written by Phil York.
This CD is out of print.
