Sonic Robo Blast 2

Sonic Robo Blast 2 is a 3-D computer fangame based on . It is developed by a group called "Sonic Team Junior", using a modified version of the Doom Legacy source port of Doom, to allow for such things as optional analog control and true room-over-room (a feat not possible in the standard ), as well as the standard gameplay elements Sonic games are known for, such as collecting and dropping rings, running very fast, bouncing off springboards, etc.
Sonic Robo Blast 2 is most closely inspired by the original 2D Sonic games, though it also borrows elements from the current Sonic games as well. The game also contains a large number of unlockable features. Completing the game with special conditions will earn new levels, with original gameplay gimmicks that cannot be found in other levels.
The game has a basic plot, wherein Dr. Eggman has constructed a weapon of mass destruction out of an unusual meteor, and it the player is tasked with destroying it. Sonic, and Knuckles are the playable characters, with most of their signature moves intact (such as Tails' flying and Knuckles' climbing).
The game has been in development since late 1998 , and is widely considered to be one of the most important Sonic fangames , as well as one of the most impressive Doom mods .
