Soma Novothny (born 16 Juny 1994) is an Hungarian footballer who currently plays for Italian S.S.C. Napoli. He plays as a striker. Club career Veszprém FC A product of Veszprém's youth system, Novothny made his debut in the 2010-11 season, in the Hungarian second divion against Bajai LSE. He scored his first senior goal against Kaposvölgye VSC. In the season year he scored 9 goals in just 13 appearances. Due to his excellent form, he was loaned out to Napoli to the rest of the season. S.S.C. Napoli At the end of the season, Novothny impressed Napoli, so that they buy him from Veszprém and signed a 5-year contract.
