Soltage is an American independent power producer headquartered in Jersey City, New Jersey. The company was founded in 2005 by Jesse Grossman and Yale MBA and FES colleagues. Soltage currently owns and manages a solar portfolio of over 360 MWs in total distributed generating capacity across 15 states. Soltage works closely with investors from Prudential Capital Group, Fifth Third Bank, Harrison Street, Basalt Infrastructure Partners, and others.
In 2013, it formed a joint venture with Greenwood Energy to form Soltage-Greenwood, which, as of 2014, has raised $70 million towards building solar panel farms across multiple states.
