Solomon Kinuthia

Solomon Kinuthia also known as Solo, is a Kenyan politician and member of the Kiambu County assembly for Ndenderu ward.
Early life and education
From 1992 to 1999, Solomon attended Nyanjega Primary School. From 2000 to 2003 he joined Karuri High school
In 2005, he joined Nairobi University for a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and graduated in 2009. In 2012, he went back to Nairobi University (UoN) to pursue an MBA (management and finance) graduating in 2014. Solomon is also a certified public accountant (Kenya) as well as a Certified Public Secretary (CPS)
After graduating in 2009, he worked as an accountant as well as an administrator in diverse industries ranging from tourism, Gaming, Telecommunications and food processing.
Solomon was key in the conceptualisation and implementation of the Mara Naboisho Tourism conservancy.
Solomon was also a director of Kiambaa Diary cooperative society.
Political life
Solomon Kinuthia was elected as member of the Kiambu county assembly for Ndenderu ward in the 2017 Kenyan general elections
Ferdinand Waititu Impeachment
In December 2019, Solomon successfully tabled an impeachment motion against governor Waititu. He cited blatant violation of procurement laws and procedure in the management of county affairs.
In June 2020, he went out to be the key witness during the Senate hearing of the validity of governor Waititu's impeachment. The senate upheld the impeachment motion.
Solomon is the chairperson Committee on Health Services at the Kiambu county assembly.
