The Societa Italiana di Benevolenza Principe di Piemonte, was founded in 1909 and is located on Waterloo Street, in Fort William, at the Da Vinci Center. It is an Italian mens fraternal community cultural organization. The counterpart in Thunder Bay, North former twin city of Port Arthur is the Italian men's fraternal cultural organization operating out of 132 S. Algoma Street, called the Italian Mutual Benefit Society of Port Arthur. Their banquet hall sponsors a variety of social and cultural events, including community spaghetti suppers, and most known for their annual Thunderfest with international entertainment, food booths, and cultural displays. |
