Snoob

A pseudo swedish word having the same meaning as the English "cuddles". The word was probably first used in this capacity by british expats in and around Stockholm, Sweden around the year 2000. Snoob can also be used when describing a person, "He/She is such a snoob" meaning "He/She is such a darling". Other uses of the word can be found in the urban dictionary : Snoob can mean Newbie, in the context of on-line gaming as an abbreviation of the Noob (slang for newbee) and Stupid, i.e. "He's such a snoob" meaning: "he's a stupid newbee". Other examples of use in the world of gaming: "That snoob just team killed the whole team!" "The snoobs got us killed." Snoob can be an abbreviation of Sexual and Noob (newbee), referring to a sexually inexperienced person, as in Sexual newbie. |
