Small Crew Productions is a Canadian independent production company. The company was formed November 1, 1998 by canadian filmmker Curtis Cooknell. SCP focuses on shooting short films, feature films, documentaries and music videos. They also have a videography department and will shoot commercials & infomercials or training & corporate videos for clients.
In November 1998, production began on A Snowy December, the companies first short film. In the summer of 2000 Out West began filming and was screened privately. When Curtis started attending college, the filmography began to grow with two short films in 2002. Trouble and Phonecall. In early 2003, SCP shot thier first music video. Millennium 2001, another short film followed in 2004, with Lie being shot in 2005. Strange and Poker were shot back to back. One in 2007, the other in 2008. In the summer of 2008, Small Crew Productions spent five months filming their second feature, Holiday Hideaway.
The SCP Magazine was also introduced in 2008.
