Sloane FC

Sloane FC is a men's open-aged football club established in 2007 based in central London playing in the Middlesex County Football League Premier League.

Club History
Sloane FC was first talked about during a university tour by final year students at University of the Arts London in 2007. Two months later and a few more conversations later Sloane FC was formed. Based in central London they started the 2007/8 in the Middlesex County League Division 1. The 2007/8 season went well with Sloane finishing 4th, reaching the London Junior Cup Semi-Final losing narrowly to South Kilburn 3-1. For the 2008/9 season Sloane introduced a reserve side playing the Middlesex County Football League Reverse Division to strengthen the club. It seemed to work as Sloane finished 3rd this season and gained promotion to the Premier Division.
Tours
Sloane FC are now famous for their tours. The 08/09 tour was Manchester to take part in the Umbro Cup. They were on great form despite much drinking the night before each game. Unfortunately Manchester weather being what it is (Rain) the tournament got changed for the 2nd day and Sloane were knocked out on penalties in their game. 09/10 Tour saw them visit Nyköping in Sweden a fantastic weekend saw them unbeaten a 2-2 draw on day 1 and 5-2 win on Day 2.
