Slingshot paintball

Slingshot paintball is a low cost alternative to paintball, in which players shoot opponents with paintballs from slingshots rather than paintball markers.
History
Slingshot paintball was first played in the 1990s by a group in Mountain Home, Idaho. The game was promoted by inventor and author Ron M. Smith, after discovering the benefits of using slingshots instead of paintball markers; slingshots were cheaper, did not require as much paintball ammunition, and they can be used silently. Games normally require all players to use slingshots, but some may allow certain players to use markers as well, to simulate a game of Cowboys and Indians.
Equipment
The basic gear required to play slingshot paintball is a slingshot, paintball mask, and a pocket (or pouch) to carry paintballs in. Players can wear fingerless gloves for protection. Players carry a designated number of paintballs (from three to fifty), depending on the game that is being played.
