Sleeperstar

Sleeperstar is an alternative pop rock band from Dallas, Texas. Formed in 2007, the band includes four members, Chris Pearson, lead singer, Nick Box, guitarist, Jake Lester, keyboards, and Shaun Menary, drummer. After cutting their EP, "To Speak, To Love, To Listen in Sweden with Peer Åström and Los Angeles, Sleeperstar began touring around Texas in Austin, Waco, and Dallas.
In fall of 2008, Sleeperstar began a tour with Andy Davis and began to travel outside of Texas. Over the past two years, Sleeperstar has opened for Chris Rice, Vertical Horizon, Eve 6, and John Mayer gaining a following throughout America. On June 25, 2010, Sleeperstar released their first full length album, "Just Another Ghost."
On November 4, 2010, the group's song "I Was Wrong" aired on CW's Vampire Diaries gaining them national and international recognition making it onto the charts in France, Australia, and Canada. Sleeperstar also won the Fast Track to Fame competition and headlined Dallas's New Year's Eve bash in Victory Park, Big D NYE 2011, which aired on ABC regionally.
