Slater family

The Slater family are a fictional, extended family in the BBC soap opera EastEnders. Introduced in 2000, the original Slater clan consisting of Charlie Slater (Derek Martin), his mother-in-law Mo Harris (Lalia Morse), and his apparent five daughters; Lynne Slater (Elaine Lordan), Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace), Little Mo Slater (Kasey Ainsworth), Belinda Slater (Leanne Lakey) and Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan). However, it was later revealed in one of the soap's most memorable storylines that Zoe Slater was in fact not the daughter of Charlie, but of her believed Kat and her uncle Harry Slater after he sexually abused her as a child of just thirteen.
More family members were occasionally introduced, in 2004 Charlie's great-niece trouble-maker Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) turned up to live with him after she was kicked out of her house by her bipolar mother Jean Slater (Gillian Wright). In 2006, Sean Slater (Robert Kazinsky), Stacey's brother turned up and in 2015 she was also tracked down by her half-brother, a man named Kyle Slater who had to fight for recognition as he was originally been born a female but went through years of transitioning.
As of May 2017 Stacey Slater (now Fowler) is the only true Slater still living on the square with her husband Martin Fowler, children Lily Branning and Arthur Fowler and her step-daughter Bex Fowler. Stacy's mother Jean still reguarly turns up to see her daughter.
