Skyhopper is a fictional character from the various Transformers universes. Transformers: Generation 1 Skyhopper is a Decepticons Micromaster who turns into a jet. He likes to watch things explode. He seems to be the opposite number to the Autobot Groundshaker Dreamwave Productions Skyhopper appears in the Dreamwave Productions Micromaster limited series. In this series Skyhopper is revealed to be a formerly larger Decepticon who was converted into a Micromaster. He and his commander Skystalker left Cybertron and became rivals to the Autobot Micromasters Countdown and Groundshaker. In issue #2 of this series Skystalker and Skyhopper return to Cybertron after years in space conquering planets. After meeting with Shockwave the pair of Micromasters disabled him and set up the larger Autobot and Decepticon forces into a fight that left both sides drained of energy. According to his Takara biography with his jet propulsion, can travels at speeds up to Mach 3. Defends planet Zone with aerial attacks. Very good at coordinating with the Jet Patrol Team.
