Silver Bullet Studios is an audio recording studio located in Burlington, Connecticut. It was opened in 2004 by Greg Thomas(Misery Signals, Shai Hulud, Zombie Apocalypse, The Risk Taken) and his father James Thomas with the idea of creating a recording environment that had both a unique atmosphere and a specialized focus on primarily the hardcore, punk, metal and rock music genres. Though the equipment amassed represented a multitude of Class A caliber options for pre amps, microphones and processing capability, the studio itself was designed to maintain a 'horror', comic book and film based decor. The idea was to have a recording studio that was run by experienced touring musicians for musicians while maintaining an aesthetic that was alluring and comfortable to work in. Greg Thomas now operates the studio with two other head engineers - Dave Swason (Life In Your Way, The Frozen Ocean) and Chris Teti (The World Is A Beautiful Place...) whom both have vast experience being working band members themselves. The band Kingdom of Sorrow formed and began writing their first songs at Silver Bullet Studios in 2005. The 2008 Shai Hulud album Misanthropy Pure was recorded there as well.
