Sikandar (2025 film)

Sikandar () is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action film written & directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It stars Salman Khan, Sathyaraj and Rashmika Mandanna.
The film was hinted in March 2024, and the official title was announced a month later on 10 April (Eid). Filming commenced in June 2024 at Mumbai and will wrap by December. The film has music composed by Pritam and cinematography handled by Tirru.
Sikandar is scheduled to release worldwide on 28 March 2025, coinciding with Eid al-Fitr.

Development
In late 2023, Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala were reported to reunite for an action film, which would be directed by AR Murugadoss, who had narrated a script to Khan and would shift to SKxARM during the mid-month break. The company made a public announcement on 12 March 2024, confirming the project, and the film's official title, Sikandar, was announced on 10 April .
Casting
Rashmika Mandanna was cast as the female lead, in her first pairing with Khan. Sathyaraj was confirmed to play the antagonist in July, while Prateik Babbar would play a supporting role.
Music
Pritam serves as the music director, as announced as 16 April 2024.
