Signazon.com

Signazon.com
Signazon.com is a company that specializes in the rapidly growing field of online ordering and production of custom business signs, establishing technological and service advantages when compared with conventional sign companies. The e-commerce company has created a technologically advanced autonomous website that provides a great degree of customer control over the design and order creation of customized signs, banners, stickers, decals, and other high-resolution color signage.
Company Profile
Signazon.com was founded in 2005, with its headquarters in Dallas, Texas. Signazon expanded their production facilities in May of 2008 to include Boston, Massachusetts and established a major presence in the Northeastern U.S. The automated production model practiced at both U.S. facilities enables Signazon to maintain a strict 1-2 day production time and reach most locations in the United States within 3-4 days.
Signazon.com has built a production model around a methodical online process for high-resolution digital printing on optimum substrates. Web-to-print processing allows site visitors to use a streamlined interactive website to select the type of item they want; choose a standard template or opt for a customized version; select from a wide variety of sizes and materials, depending on the product; and submit customized images or wording for the product.
Expertise in Digital Printing
Signazon.com uses a unified approach that combines several elements of digital technologies during the production process. Web interactivity provides a greater degree of control by the customer on the front end, while digital printing technology allows cost-effective, high-quality production in a relatively short time on the back end. The process is streamlined even more by use of rapid methods of delivery to the customer, typically ranging from overnight to 2 or 3 days.
Signazon.com leverages the technology and improved workflow of digital printing, which provides a number of advantages over standard commercial printing processes. Unlike traditional processes, which typically produce signage by including several steps in a complicated inking process, digital printing uses a streamlined “direct to output” or "web to print" model. This allows for more cost-effective printing, since fewer steps are involved.
Signazon.com uses web technology to streamline production and create a self-service online design and ordering system. A sophisticated step-by-step interactive process creates a well-defined structure for custom price quotes, along with product selection and project creation that allows users to submit digital images electronically, or to utilize pre-built templates defined within the system.
Images are created or submitted electronically in a wide range of digital formats, adjusted as necessary, then sent directly to an output device. Sophisticated roll-based printers allow digital printing on a wide variety of flexible materials, including paper, vinyl, fabrics and thin plastics. The process results in high-resolution images of up to 1440 dpi and a four-color printing process which allows for a wide gamut of colors in an enhanced production time. Digital methods allow quick production of customer proofs, and production time typically ranging between 1 and 3 days.
Commitment to Supporting Local Schools and Nonprofit Organizations
In 2010, Signazon.com played a prominent role in support of TV talk show host Conan O’Brien during his contractual battle with NBC and Jay Leno over hosting The Tonight Show. The company printed “Team Coco” posters, banners and signs for O’Brien’s supporters to use during rallies and events.
In November of 2009, the company donated an oversized printed check to MIT in support of a mechanical engineering competition. As part of the “Great American Smokeout,” the yearly stop-smoking initiative, two student teams were each given the task of designing an elaborate, “over-engineered” cigarette-extinguisher. Signazon.com donated an oversized check that was presented to the winning team.
In October of 2010, Signazon partnered with a California company to renovate a historic building keeping its traditional architecture but updating the building’s interior to incorporate a business office. Signazon donated design services and an innovative new product called Etched Glass Decals to tie together the historic and modern updates.
Other Signazon.com initiatives include partnering with a small town outside of Baltimore to create stickers, yard signs, street banners and other decorations for the town’s Christmas celebration, and holding a national scholarship competition for secondary school students aspiring to study graphic design. Signazon has also participated in many charity events including donating an oversized check to SHARE, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting literacy in Africa, and to the Affiliate Advertiser annual convention, Affiliate Summit 2010, in support of their charity event and donation to the People's City Mission.
