Shrikar Madiraju, (born 17 July 1975) is an Indian film director. Early life and education Madiraju was born in Hyderabad, India. Career In 2003, Madiraju wrote "Biryani and Irani chai" a collection of nine short stories and "Cafe Confuxion", a story for an animation film. Madiraju's first short film "Underground" In 2004, Shrikar directed his first feature film, The Down Rising, which premiered at the Avalon Theatre in Washington D.C. and was well received by critics.
