Shoppes at Blackstone Valley

The Shoppes at Blackstone Valley is an open-air shopping mall in Millbury, Massachusetts. It is located just off of Massachusetts State Route 146, and is just north of Millbury Center. Stores include Target, Kohl's, Circuit City, and Barnes & Noble. It is advertised as being the largest open-air shopping mall in central Massachusetts. In 2007, the shopping centre had a deciding impact on the possibility of road expansion being conducted by Massachusetts Dep't of Highways in cordination with the Town Planner. According to state and local officials, the mall is one of 2 factors putting the town "in the middle of a traffic nightmare". It has been reported in local papers that an expansion of the centre may occure in the near future. See Also
