PLOT
Ajmal Kasab was the only attacker captured alive by police and is currently under arrest. Much of the information about the attackers' preparation, travel, and movements comes from his confessions to the Mumbai police.
On February 12, 2009 Pakistan's Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that Pakistani national Javed Iqbal, who acquired VoIP phones in Spain for the Mumbai attackers, and Hamad Ameen Sadiq, who had facilitated money transfer for the attack, had been arrested. Javed Iqbal was lured back from Spain and arrested in Pakistan. Two other men known as Khan and Riaz but whose full names were not given were also arrested.
Ten attackers took part in the attacks; nine of them were subsequently shot dead and one captured by security forces. Witnesses reported that they looked young, in their early twenties, and wore T-shirts, black shirts, and jeans, and that they smiled and looked happy as they shot their victims.
Initially, some reports claimed that there were British among the attackers. However, Indian police later stated that there was no evidence to confirm this.
On 9 December, the ten attackers and their home towns in Pakistan were identified by Mumbai police: Ajmal Amir from Faridkot, Abu Ismail Dera Ismail Khan from Dera Ismail Khan, Hafiz Arshad and Babr Imran from Multan, Javed from Okara, Shoaib from Narowal, Nazih and Nasr from Faisalabad, Abdul Rahman from Arifwalla, and Fahad Ullah from Dipalpur Taluka. Dera Ismail Khan is in the North-West Frontier Province; the rest of the towns are in Pakistani Punjab.

The Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus was attacked by two gunmen, one of whom, Ajmal Amir Kasab was later caught alive by the police. The attacks began here around 21:20, when two attackers armed with AK-47 rifles entered the passenger hall, opened fire and threw grenades, killing at least ten people.
The 2008 Mumbai attacks were ten coordinated shooting and bombing terrorist attacks across Mumbai, India's financial capital and its largest city. The attacks, which began on 26 November 2008 and lasted until 29 November, killed at least 173 people and wounded at least 308. The attacks drew widespread condemnation across the world.
Eight of the attacks occurred in South Mumbai: at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, the Oberoi Trident, the Taj Mahal Palace & Tower, Leopold Cafe, Cama Hospital, the Orthodox Jewish-owned Nariman House, the Metro Cinema, and a lane behind the Times of India building and St. Xavier's College. There was also an explosion at the Mazagaon docks, in Mumbai's port area, and in a taxi at Vile Parle. By the early morning of 28 November, all sites except for the Taj Mahal Palace had been secured by Mumbai Police and security forces. An action by India's National Security Guards on 29 November resulted in the death of the last remaining attackers at the Taj Mahal Palace, ending all fighting in the attacks.
Ajmal Amir Kasab, the only attacker who was captured alive, disclosed that the attackers were members of Lashkar-e-Taiba, the Pakistan-based militant organization, considered a terrorist organization by India, the United States, and the United Kingdom, among others. The Indian Government said that the attackers came from Pakistan, and their controllers were in Pakistan.
On January 7, 2009, after more than a month of denying the nationality of the attackers, Pakistan's Information Minister Sherry Rehman officially accepted Ajmal Amir's nationality as Pakistani. On February 12, 2009, Pakistan's Interior Minister Rehman Malik, in a televised news briefing, confirmed that parts of the attack had been planned in Pakistan and said that six people, including the alleged mastermind, were being held in connection with the attacks.

Shootout at taj hotel is remake of superhit shootout at lokhandwala 2007.
Shootout at Lokhandwala got some hard reviews. However, as of June 9th 2007 it was the second highest opening of the year so far. The film was also released with another Bachchan starrer, Cheeni Kum. Both films have been declared 'Average', but after some time business of Shootout at Lokhandwala soared rapidly, and the film was declared as a big hit.In the mumbai circuit Shootout at Lokhandwala was a superhit.
