Shannon Gardner - Gausten (born January 22, 1980) is an American artist, sculptress, essayist, graphic designer, adult model and experimental musician. Her artwork appeared in Joel Gausten's 2009 book, Words From the Third Side: Essays on Sex, Satan & Success (for which she also contributed an essay on BDSM culture) and will appear in the upcoming second edition of Gausten's 2006 book, Tales of Horror: The History of The Misfits & The Undead. Gardner is currently recording the debut album for her experimental music project, Effectionhate, for a 2011 release. The album will feature guest appearances by drummers Martin Atkins (Pigface, Killing Joke, Ministry, Nine Inch Nails) and Joel Gausten (Pigface, Electric Frankenstein, The Undead) and guitarist Sonny Bellavance. |
