Shameless Idealists is an intimate series of programs about celebrities who are creating positive social change. Produced by Kensington Communications , the series follows Richard Branson and his daughter, Holly, Magic Johnson, Nelly Furtado, Rick Hansen, Roméo Dallaire and former child soldier, Michel Chikwanine, as they share how they moved from their modest roots to celebrity status, and how they converted their fame into an effective force for change. Woven throughout are personal observations by Craig Kielburger, along with archival material which illustrates key moments in the lives of our Shameless Idealists.
This project is set to be released as a five part video series for TV, DVD, the web and schools.
