Shaista Naz Usta , also known as Sabrina for her role in her debut film, is an American Bollywood actress who was discovered by the megastar, Dev Anand. Usta learnt Hindi (native Indian language) after she was cast as the lead in the title role by the veteran Dev Anand in his movie, titled “Main Solah Baras Ki” which became flop at the box office. This was initially the first Bollywood movie sponsored by Prince Charles of London. Early life and career Shaista began her career through school plays. She appeared in the role of Anne Frank in a school play, which became very popular in America. After Dev Anand cast her in his film, Main Solah Baras Ki, Shaista also appeared on the cover of the Movie Magazine of Bollywood along with Shahrukh Khan (also known as King Khan) and Amir Khan (also known as Mr. Perfectionist). Since the release of her first Bollywood movie in 1998, Shaista has been seen with many renowned faces of the film industry. After the release of Main Solah Baras Ki, Shaista decided to return home to accomplish her education. Family background and personal life Shaista Usta is one of those actresses of the film industry who come from an educated family. Her father is known to be a famous artist and has won several medals as a culinary chef and ice sculpturer. Shaista also decided to learn cooking, skin-care, makeup techniques and cosmeceuticals. Shaista also served in many US institutes as an educator. Shaista married a Turkish engineer turned international businessman in the US. In 2007, they tied a knot with each other but this marriage did not go successful and they got separated from each other. Shaista has a son, Iskender Koseoglu who is currently living with Shaista Usta.
