Shadeen Anglin (born June 12, 1991) is a Jamaican evangelist, author and broadcaster who was born in the parish of St. Ann to parents Aldine Harris and Fitzroy Anglin. Anglin's father was a carpenter and mason while her mother was a dress maker and helper. They both resided in remote districts in St. Ann namely John Reid and Cuffie Ridge. At the age of three a vibrant Anglin attended the Shiloh Apostolic basic school and at five years of age, she attended the Mount Moriah primary school. Her time at Mount Moriah was however short-lived as her mother, who was a helper at the time, relocated her to Kingston where she started school a fresh. She ended up attending Rousseau Primary where she spent six adventurous years and having excelled in the Grade Six Achievement Test examinations, she comfortably earned a place at Camperdown High. There she became a form leader and was very active in co-curricular activities such as track and field and debating. Career In the infancy of her career, Shadeen Anglin like many other university graduates, found employment in the booming BPO sector in Kingston, Jamaica. Her first job was landed at the company Fullgram Solutions and after a few months of working there, she moved on to working at Xerox in Portmore, St. Catherine. There she spent a little over a year before earning her spot at the headquarters of one of Jamaica's largest conglamorates, GraceKennedy Limited. It was at this company that Shadeen Anglin developed her Information Technology, public-speaking, communication and writing skills. She also received vast amount of training in other areas while serving in the capacity of administrative assistant to the chief financial officer of GK foods and administrative assistant to the Business Systems Manager and the Chief Information Officer. Writings Shadeen's first professional writing experience began during her tenure as news editor and broadcaster at TBC Radio. Her time there saw the soon-to-be author further developing in areas such as radio broadcasting, writing, presenting, conducting interviews and a host of other things. During the said period the then converted Christian minister received significant training from Kingdom Life School of Supernatural Ministries where she was sharpened in the area of ministry, evangelism and divinity. Books Shadeen's first published book was 'I've Seen Jesus: Details of a Divine Call to Intimacy and the Supernatural" which she wrote in 2020. Her second published book was 'Bible Quiz Time: Genesis - Revelation.' Both books are available on all Amazon platforms. App development In 2020, Shadeen Anglin ventured into the male dominated field of game app development launching the educational app 'Bible Quiz Time: Genesis - Revelation.' The app is available on both Google play and Appstore. Philanthropy Through her Christian organization, Shadeen Anglin Ministries International, Shadeen caters to the needs of the indigent and the less fortunate. With the help of local and overseas donors she's able to provide them with food, clothing, money and sanitary items as needed.
