Sergey Pelykh

Sergey Pelykh (also known as Serhii Pelykh), born in Ukraine is a Ukrainian singer, songwriter, and social media personality. He is best known for being a contestant on
the Ukrainian version of The X Factor, where he gained notoriety after a judge destroyed his guitar on stage.
Sergey currently lives in Warsaw, Poland.
Early life
Sergey Pelykh was born in Ukraine. He began playing the guitar at a young age, and was gifted a guitar by his late father.
Career
Pelykh began his career as a social media personality, with thousands of subscribers on his YouTube channel. He regularly uploaded singing videos on his channel, and was also active on other social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.
The X Factor
In 2021, Pelykh auditioned for the Ukrainian version of The X Factor. During his audition, he was performing a song on his guitar when a judge, Dmytro Shurov, suddenly got up from his seat and walked towards him. Shurov then proceeded to take away Pelykh's guitar and destroy it. The incident was caught on video and went viral on social media, with many people expressing outrage at Shurov's actions.
Pelykh later made a video on TikTok thanking people for their support. He also revealed that the guitar was a gift from his late father. After the incident, Pelykh continued to grow as a social media personality.
He is still active on social media platforms, and continues to post videos of himself singing and playing guitar.
