Sekou Bunch (born September 9, 1960) is a jazz musician from New York. He gained notoriety for appearing on Survivor: Cook Islands, despite being the first contestant voted out. In the season's reunion show, Bunch performed a song he wrote about his time on Survivor. He previously had a minor role in the 1991 film Wild Orchid II: Two Shades of Blue. Early Life Bunch was born in New York City. He was exposed to the arts while growing up and showed promise at a young age. He was passionate in music and dance. He attended two years of college at St. Francis College and Glendale Community College. He attended the show's 10-year anniversary party on January 9th, 2010.
