Seeds of Time Online

Seeds of Time Online, commonly abbreviated to SoTO, is a massively multiplayer online game. It is a browser based game, and as such requires no downloads. This and the fact that the gameplay is entirely free to all users, are two points often stressed in the advertising of the game. Seeds of Time Online has recently passed ten thousand members. Gameplay Seeds of Time Online is played by controlling the actions of a character with the means of several menus contaiing vaarious options. Each character belongs to one of three classes: Warrior, which tends to deal more damage with each blow, and is more difficult to injure. Mage, which has the advantage of a larger arsenal of spells, most of which deal additional damage in combat. And Assassin, which is capable of equipping two weapons at once. Each class is capable of entering on quests and using the various trade skills in order to make equipment or money. Gameplay is begun by creating a character at the Seeds of Time Online website: http://www.seedsoftime.net/?referrer=oddball2002 Player Interaction Players interact with each other through means of a chat window, and, once they have progressed beyond a certain point in the game, are capable of trading items with each other, or engaging in player versus player combat. Also, there is a forum linked to the game, which is used for general game diuscussion as well as establishing of buisness deals and battles. Level System Characters level up in two different ways. The first is the basic level, which most actions, including combat, mining, and cooking, give you experience points for. When the necessary amount of expeience points have been earned, the players level advances, and they are given five stat points which they can use to advance their combat capabilities. In adition to the basic level, each "tradeskill" has its own quota of experience points, which, when filled, raises the level of that tradeskill, causing the character to become more capable in the area of that skill. Both basic levels and tradeskill levels require more experience to increase as the levels are raised. Energy Most actions undertaken in Seeds of Time Online require the use of energy, which recharges over time.
