Scott Gross

Scott Alan Gross (born August 17, 1946 at Stanford University Hospital) has been involved in the field of computer graphics since 1985. He was a co-founder of Novatech Engineering in Calistoga, California, an early innovator of microbiology laboratory instrumentation. He went on to lead the development team at Time Arts, Inc. of Santa Rosa, California as they created some of the very first computer paint software products. Time Arts had developed one of the first DOS-based 8-bit paint software packages and then helped bring paint software into the 'true color' or 24-bit paint software environment on PC (DOS & PS2), Macintosh and Silicon Graphics systems. In 1996 Gross helped introduce the Primatte chromakey technology to the world at the request of IMAGICA Corp. of Tokyo, Japan.
He currently resides in Cameron Park, California.
