Scene fashion

Scene fashion is a type of lifestyle and dress. Mostly young people or teenagers go with the scene fashion, commonly called as Scene; although it is also sometimes referred to as Emo or Emo/Scene. Scene Kids live their lives on high management and constant wardrobe buys. They are loud, bold, bright, and sometimes obnoxious. They relish fashion, photography, and music.

Attire
The typical Scene Kid dresses in bright colors, stripes, polka dots, zig-zag lines, or bold solid colors. They combine numerous shirts, shorts, pants, stockings, shoes, jewelry, hairbows, and hats to their daily outfits. Skinny jeans are popular among the Scene Kids also, along with tight shirts and jackets. Colorful flats, or converse are popular, bright shoelaces are also popular. Similar to New Wave fashion from the early 80s, typically worn by people born after the 80s.

Hair
Hairstyles are a bit messy. The top is usually cut in a mullet-type fashion, and hair extensions are placed that hang past the shoulders. Both girls' and boys' hairstyles are very similar, making some of them hard to tell apart. Most boys keep the hair extensions to a minimum, while the girls add in extra extensions, hair stripes, or dozens of unnatural bright colors. Some may have bright blonde hair, while some may have black hair. In any case, Scene Kids mostly have similar hairstyles as the next Scene Kid.

Buttons
Buttons are also popular among the Scene Kids. They are placed on shirts, pants, bags, bracelets, or hung on necklaces.

Music
Scene Kids love to listen to music. They relish in going to concerts not only to listen to music, but to show off themeselves as a sort of modeling excursion. The type of music they enjoy is mostly Hardcore, Metalcore, Deathcore ect. music including but not limited to Atreyu, Bullet For My Valentine, Bring Me The Horizon, Parkway Drive, 50 Lions.

Popularity
Being a Scene Kid requires lots of management. Numerous photos are taken and the hair must be mantained at all times. Some Scene Kids, having the goal of wanting to be models, take dozens of pictures of themselves in one sitting. The pictures must then be placed on sites such as Myspace.com, Bebo.com, or Buzznet.com. After placing them on one of the sites, friend requests are made, and popularity goes up.
