Sayyid Sultan Masood Dakik

Mir Sayyid Sultan Masood Dakik (born 1967) is a German entrepreneur, Lobbyist and direct descendant of Prophet Muhammad after 31 generations. He is the grandson of Sayyid Mir Muhammad Jan.
Ancestry
Sayyid Sultan Masood Dakik is a Sayyid (a descendant of Muhammad through his daughter Fatimah and his cousin Ali ibn Abi Talib). Among his are seven of the Twelve Imams in one lineage, and in other registered lineages eleven of the Twelve Imams, Sayyid Abdulqadir Jilani, Sayyid Bahauddin Naqshband, Sayyid Alauddin Atar, and Khwaja Khawand Mahmud (also known as Hazrat Ishaan). After the Battle of Karbala, the Ahl al-Bayt went back to Medina. From there Musa al Kazim was forced to go to Iraq. The Musavis, i.e. the descendants of Musa al Kadhim, settled to Persia. One of them was Khwaja Sayyid Mir Ismail Muhammad Hakim, father of Khwaja Sayyid Mir Latif, an ancestor of Sayyid Sultan Masood Dakik. The descendants of Sayyid Mir Latif immigrated to Bokhara and after that to Kabul, where Sayyid Sultan Masood is born.
Sayyid Sultan Masood´s ancestors were also Askari Sayyids, i.e. descendants of Imam Hasan al-Askari, through his son Sayyid Ali Akbar , whose existence was hidden, because of political conflicts. Sayyid Ali Akbars descendants also migrated to Bokhara, where the prominent Sufi saint Bahauddin Naqshband, founder of the Naqshbandi Sufi Order, was born. A descendant of Bahauddin Naqshband after 7 generations was Hazrat Ishaan, whose descendants later immigrated to variable regions of South Asia, like Khorasan, today known as Afghanistan in order to spread the Ishaqiyya Naqshbandiyya branch´s teachings.
His father was H.R.H. Prince Dr. Abdul Khaliq Khan, pioneer of Physics in Afghanistan.

Career
Sayyid Sultan Masood Dakik finished high school in year 1984 and was admitted to Kabul University Medical school. As a Sayyid and member of the Afghan royal family he had to flee from Afghanistan in the same year on the occasion of the stronger pressures the Soviet backed government put on him and his family. Since his father was imprisoned, he fled with his mother for 7 days by foot to Pakistan. After his escape from Afghanistan he further immigrated to Germany in year 1984. In Germany he worked as a young textile merchant and later found his own company for luxurious womenswear. He had sold his company later in order to take care of his ill mother.
In the moment he has many companies in the field of consultancy and financing, in oil business and "new technologies". He especially puts his focus on projects in the field of renewable energy and climate protection, especially in Saudi Arabia. He is known for his close ties to Middle Eastern Royal families.
Sultan Masood Dakik, who became German citizen since 1995, lives in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. he is married with his wife Sayyida Nargis Dakik and is father of the three children:

Charity works
Sayyid Sultan Masood Dakik is initiator of various humanitarian and social projects. His social works are especially for migrants and disadvantaged people. That is why he was given the German Federal Order of Merit on the 5th of February 2015.
Sayyid Sultan Masood Dakik financed the „Verein für Afghanistan-Förderung“. he is working there socially, and contributes to alphabetization and education for women in Afghanistan. He financed two orphan houses, especially for handicapped children, in Kabul and helps children injured from war, for whose accommodation and well-being he takes care of. One initiated project by Sayyid Sultan Masood Dakik is the apprenticeship of 60 women to tailors. Next to the apprenticeship they also learn how to read, calculate and write. Furthermore he has 49 adoptive children, i. a. in Tanzania, Uganda, Nigeria and Pakistan, he helps financially and supports in their carreer. Some of his adoptive children have become Academics, scientists and PhD-degree holders.
In Wesel he supports new migrants in public administration, translations, notarizations and accommodation. He also rents some of his apartments for immigrants.
