The Cross is a representation of Jesus Undying Love and mercy. The Cross is a reminder that Jesus died an agonizingly painful death. He humbled himself and became obedient to death-even death on a cross. In the Roman empire, criminals were executed with their hands and feet nailed to large wooden crosses. And yet, here was Jesus, Son of God who was completely innocent and willingly chose to die for us that we may live. The Cross reminds us, Christians time to time, that we have to carry our crosses and love when it is especially difficult to love. Jesus, dying words on the cross were, ‘Father, forgive them, they know not what they do. As Christians we simply have to remember to ever be so humble. In our humility, lies our whole strength. And that strength is God. We believe in one God, and HE walks before us and clears our paths. In over a hundred years, the crosses all over Bandra-Mumbai have never troubled anyone. These are completely legal structures. These are a Heriatge, to us Bandraites. With GOD all things are Possible!
