Sasha Chettri, born in 1996, aka "The Airtel 4G Girl", is an Indian model best known for her Airtel 4G advertising campaign. Between September 2015 and Novemner 2015, Sasha appeared 54,000+ times for a total of 1,708,500+ seconds in Airtel 4G ads aired in Indian Television, causing her to get more coverage than even celebrities in ads. According to an internal study conducted by Bharti Airtel in 2015, association of Airtel with 4G increased by about 94%, proving the effectiveness of the ad campaign. Early Life and Education Sasha, who hails from Dehradun, moved to Mumbai when she was 16 years old for her higher education. She has a degree in advertising from Xavier's Institute of Communications in Mumbai. She was working as a trainee when she was selected for the Airtel 4G ad series. |
