Sasan Adibi

Biography
Dr. Sasan Adibi received his Bachelor of Science degree in the fields of telecommunications and electronics from Amirkabir University in 1995, his first Master of Science degree in the field of data communication systems from Brunel University in 1999, his second Master of Science degree from University of Windsor in electrical and computer engineering in 2005, and his PhD degree in communications and information systems from University of Waterloo in 2011. He is an IEEE Senior Member and the recipient of the best PhD thesis award from the IEEE Society.
Dr. Adibi's expertise covers the research, design, implementation, and application of Electronic Health (eHealth) and Mobile Health (mHealth). He has an extensive publication portfolio with over 50 journal/conference/book chapter/white paper/patent articles within the areas of Quality of Service (QoS), Security, and eHealth/mHealth. He is an editor of four technical books, two of which are in the areas of mHealth and two others are in the areas of 4th Generation Mobile Networks and QoS and an inventor/co-inventor of 4 patents in the areas of Health Informatics.
Dr. Adibi has an extensive industry background, having worked for Nortel Networks, Siemens Canada, WiMAX Forum, BlackBerry Corp., and Huawei Technologies. He is the founder and managing director of Cyber Journals and serving as Cyber Journals Health Informatics Associate Editor. He is currently a Vice Chancellor Research Fellow at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) at the Department of Business IT and Logistics.
Sasan is the son of Akbar Adibi, who has been proclaimed as the father of electronics and VLSI in Iran.
