Sarona Snuka, is a professional wrestler of Fijian, Samoan, and Tongan ancestry. She is currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), training in its developmental facility Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) under the name Sarona Snuka and is the first female wrestler to come out of the Samoan Wrestling Family. She also worked for World Xtreme Wrestling. Career Snuka received the first Lia Maivia Scholarship to train for her professional wrestling career at the Wild Samoan Training Center. World Xtreme Wrestling Sarona made her World Xtreme Wrestling debut in a match that came on September 26th, 2009 in Minneola, FL in a WXW sanctioned matched pinning her against another newcomer Lace. She defeated Lace showing athleticism and a strong showing in her match. She then competed in WXW 2009 Women's Elite 8 Tournament on November 14th, 2009 where she defeated former TNA Knockout Rain and then defeated Lace. However, she came up on the losing end of the tournament in the finals after Betsy Ruth defeated her. Then on November 28, 2009 Sarona defeated Lace by DQ. World Wrestling Entertainment It was announced on December 25, 2009 on the WXW twitter account that WWE had signed Sarona to a development contract after a tryout with the company on December 18, 2009 in Orlando, Florida. She made her FCW debut on March 4th, managing Donny Marlow and then later in the show, it was announced she joined the group of Donny Marlow, The Uso Brothers and G-Rilla. Then on March 6th she mader her FCW wrestling debut teaming with Liviana only to lose to Courtney Taylor and Aksana. Personal Life She is the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Snuka, and she is the younger sister of "Sim Snuka." Sarona also shares relation with , Afa Anoa'i, Samula Anoa'i, Solofa Fatu, Tonga Fifita, , Afa Anoa'i, Jr. and Sika Anoa'i and many more familiar names. She was awarded the Lia Miavia Scholarship Award for Wrestling in June. Sarona was also a standout basketball player at Umpqua Community College, where she helped lead the team to 26 consecutive victories. She won MVP of the LA Valley Tournament, and she was selected to play in the NWACC All Star game. Sarona has remained committed to humanitarian work throughout her adult life.
