Sarat C. Das

Sarat Chandra Das was an Indian journalist who lived in Queensland. He is currently completing his graduate study in film at Griffith University. He spent nine years working with the media in India, previously serving as chief editor for The Times of India. He is currently producing a six-part documentary on Australian aborigines. He also takes interest in archaeology and Indian linguistics.
He has achieved some recognition for his documentaries on Australian aborigines, which dwell on the genetic similarities between Australian aboriginal people and some tribes of India as earlier discovered by voyager T.H. Huxley in his mid 19th century sea voyage.
