Biography
Santa Margaret is an Italian band composed by Angelica Schiatti and Stefano Verderi (guitarist of the band Vibrazioni).
Their first work is "Il Suono Analogico Cova la Sua Vendetta" (Vol.1), released on October 30, 2014; the second part of the album, "Il Suono Analogico Cova la Sua Vendetta" (Vol.2) is released on June 9, 2015. Both the Eps are available only on vinyl and on streaming services.
All the song are written by Angelica Schiatti and Stefano Verderi. Verderi is also the producer of all the songs.
Rewards
In 2014 the band starts having feedback and consents by critics and public: they win Coca Cola Summer Festival in the Young section with their first single "Riderò", on air on Canale 5 and RTL 102,5, two of the mail Italian channels. They're chosen as Artist of the month for MTV New Generation.
In January 2015 Santa Margaret is the first Italian band to be part of the new format Vevo DSCVR, on Vevo music channel.
They've been opening act for very big international artists such as Deep Purple and Beth Hart.
The band performs at Concerto del Primo Maggio, big traditional concert in Rome; in July, with their song "Vieni a gridare con me" are at Coca Cola Summer Festival in the Big section. The same year they win MTV AWARDS in the MTV New Generation category.
Santa Margaret are chosen as finalists for the prestigious Premio Tenco
Other awards come from the cinema. Their songs "Riderò" and "Vieni a gridare con me" are part of the Soundtrack in Aldo Giovanni e Giacomo movie "Il ricco, il povero e il maggiordomo" (The rich, the poor and the butler), in all Italian cinemas at Christmas 2014.
