The San Francisco Studio School is private, graduate-level program dedicated to the in-depth and contemporary study of drawing, painting, photography & mixed media. It is an intense limited-enrollment program intended for serious, deeply involved fine art students. The overall approach to study at the school is based in the visual nature of art including working from perception as expressed through the individual medium. Patrons commited to the visual arts underwrite the sponsored-tuition program to support the students' study, allowing them to put forth their full effort. The continuity provided by a cohesive approach to study and long hours spent at work in the studio provides students a meaningful opportunity to develop and confirm their unique identity as artists.
