Samsung Galaxy S III is the successor to Samsung Galaxy S II. It is expected to be announced in the first half of 2012. The device is expected to compete against the successor of the iPhone 4S. Hardware Display It is rumored that the Samsung Galaxy S III will feature a larger 4.8 inch screen when compared to the 4.3 inch screen of its predecessor. Samsung accidentally leaked that it would release phones in 2012 with the new flexible glass, specifically FOLED technology. This would make for the rumored 4.6 inch screen and 1280×1024 resolution of the Galaxy S III. Samsung have chosen to use the OLED/FOLED screen technology as it uses less power and it also allows for the screen to be curved.
