Sameer Wankhede

Sameer Wankhede is an officer of IRS from 2008 batch. He is married to marathi actor Kranti Redkar. They are parent to twin daughters. He is presently working as Zonal Director of the NCB based out of Mumbai. Prior to joining NCB, he worked with the National Investigation Agency and the Air Intelligence Unit. He is leading the investigation of Cordelia drug case involving Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan. Wankhede was also the lead investigator of the drug consumption probe by NCB following the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput involving several Bollywood actors Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone. |
