Sameer Hassan

Sameer Hassan Mehmood Khan is a Pakistani former amateur boxer.
Early life
Hassan was born on 6 June 1998 in the town of Thakot in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. He was a former MMA fighter and a kickboxer.
Professional boxing
In 2010 at the All Pakistan Boxing Tournament in Peshawar, Hassan defeated Noor Ali in the second round at the final. In 2012, at the Pakistan National Championships, Hassan lost the semi-final by points. He took first place at the 2013 Pakistan Inter-Services Army Championships where he was named the best boxer. In 2014, at the Pakistan National Selection Tournament he placed third. In 2015, Hassan was chosen as the AIBA professional (APB). He was included in the training for the at the national camp in Karachi for the Asian Confederation Boxing Championship. At the 2015 Asian Confederation Boxing Championship, Hassan got to the quarter-final by beating Daivii Otgonbayar of Mongolia but lost the quarter-final bout. At the 33rd National Games in Peshawar, he won his match.
