Sam Hauser

Sam Hauser was a german private in World War 1, most well known for shooting down a sopwith camel from the ground with a pistol. For this he was awarded the Iron Cross. after the war, he became a
postman. local newspaper reports contend that he did that because he was disturbed from the war. Some critics charge that the sopwith camel was experiencing technical difficulties before Hauser shot it down.
