Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI has imparted the Apostolic Blessing to "an inscribed copy" of Salvific Law. Bishop Dr. Dimitri Salachas of Athens, Greece, an authority in oriental canon law qualified the work as "a master's doctoral work." Dr. Ladislas Orsy, the world famous Canonical Theologian of Washington DC., US, evaluated the book as "an outstanding-precious work."

Dr. Daniel G. Fulton has commented in a supplement of L'Osservatore Romano, "Salvific Law succeeds in demonstrating that the Code of Canons of the Oriental Churches has a particular congruence with the Divine Will. The aim of both is salvation of souls. While this book will be of interest to theologians and canonists, it is also particularly suited for priests and even laity. The sections regarding the Eucharist and the Sacrament of Penance demonstrate how God's saving love for man is made manifest in Canon Law."

Philip Chempakassery has reviewed this book in the following words, "Salvific Law is a precious book on law highlighting the fact that the law has a salvific nature" and he concludes that,"The supreme function of Canon Law is to help the Christian faithful to lead a life, which is oriented towards the ultimate communion with God."

Salvific Law was first published in 2004 from Coimbatore by Elkay Publishers. The publishers of the second revised edition is M S Publications, Thiruvananthapuram, . The second edition was released by Moran Mor Baselios Cleemis Catholicos by giving the first copy to Dr. Alexander Jacob IPS on May 13, 2008.
